Nicole and Callum’s Wedding at Bangor Farm

Nicole and Callum were married at Bangor Farm before family and friends on a Friday in mid April. The wedding day was coordinated by the incredible Catrin from Fika Events. Lana Searle conducted the wedding ceremony and Flowers by Lynette decorated Bangor Farm inside and out with beautiful floral arrangements. Ashleigh Jane Skin and Beauty took care of Nicole’s hair and makeup. The Cake Eating Co made and decorated a fantastic cake and Country Feasts put on the most delicious dinner for us all. Pulse Entertainment sent the night off in style with music and dancing. Tegan Clark took photos and I filmed.

I collected eleven hours of footage across six cameras and brought it all together creating a ten minute and fifty one second Heirloom Wedding Film set to four songs that Nicole and Callum had picked.

I hope you like it! I had a great time putting it all together.

Upon final delivery of their completed services here’s what Nicole and Callum had to say about my work.

My husband and I recently had Rowan from Frameboy capture our wedding. We received a 10 minute video, a preview video, a highlights video, full coverage of the whole day, live streaming of the ceremony to our overseas guests, and all the raw footage of our dance, speeches, ceremony and a touch of dancing. With all of this I genuinely can’t thank Rowan enough. From beginning, middle and the end working with Rowan has been seamless. Rowan takes such pride in his work, which was evident from our very first meeting with him. We at first decided to take the next day edit package, but then decided we’d upgrade, a week before the wedding to the full video package and I’m SO glad we did! Rowan is the master of under promise and over deliver. On the day itself, we could hardly tell he was there, fitting into the background, sneaking and capturing all the bits we missed (you know while we were anxious wrecks!) and looking at the videos he has created… WOW!! My heart flutters every time, mums seen it a million times and still sheds a tear! Considering at the start of our wedding planning journey we weren’t even sure if we even wanted a videographer… both Callum and myself truly believe choosing Rowan, from Frameboy was the BEST decision we made. THANK YOU Rowan, thank you thank you thank you!

I also made them a Spoken Moments highlights film.

We just sat down and watched it and omg we LOVE IT!!! As soon as Callum heard his sisters “with these hands reading” over the imagery he started shedding tears. This version is just a whole other element to what you’ve already given / provided us. Thank you so so much.

That Morning

My morning started early with a drive out to Oxford to catch up in with Callum and his family. After they had washed their wedding car I headed back to Christchurch to see Nicole and her family. There were lots of fun moments to capture with Nicole, her bridesmaids, parents and brother. Once Nicole was dressed and ready to go I hit the road to beat them out to Bangor Farm.

That Afternoon

Nicole and Callum shed a few tears after seeing each other and then we all got into some photos and capturing moments with the bridal party and flower girls. The forest at Bangor Farm made for a delightful backdrop as we were accompanied by several friendly fantails.

Then at 3:30pm it was time for everyone to watch, clap and cheer as Lana Searle married Nicole and Callum. I even helped some family from overseas join in the fun with a live stream of the ceremony.

That Night

After some group photos, drinks and relaxed hangs we headed inside for speeches and dinner. Tegan and I pulled Nicole and Callum outside briefly just as the sun was setting for a few minutes of relaxed photos.

Nicole and Callum kicked off the remainder of the night with a first dance.

While the rain bucketed down, the dance floor lit up and I began to pack up and head home!

After making Nicole and Callum a preview and sharing an even shorter version to Instagram I worked on the first draft of Nicole and Callum’s film for twelve days and shared it with them twenty-nine days after they had been married.

After seeing their preview here is what Nicole had to say:

ROWAN!!! Omg!

Callum and I are screaming at how good this is!! Thank you so so much for being there on our day to capture these precious moments with us. I know this was just a snippet but it perfectly captured all those small moments we otherwise would have missed. I can’t wait to see more. Ahh amazing!!!

Making videos for Nicole, Callum and all their family and friends was an absolute joy. I’m so happy everyone liked the film and videos I was able to make for them

Thanks for reading my blog!
