Lydia and Scott’s Wedding at Rosemount Estate

Lydia and Scott were married in mid November at Rosemount Park Estate in Ohoka. Lydia and her friends had their Hair and Make up done by Selina Nunn. Their family friend Sandra James conducted their wedding service at 3pm. DJ4U sorted the ceremony sound and music for the evening, Libby Ellmers photographed the day.

I captured all the movements and moments of the day, after carefully reviewing hours of raw footage taken from six different cameras I crafted a twelve minute and one second Heirloom Film set to four songs chosen by Scott and Lydia.

I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it 😊

Here’s what they had to say about my services

‘Rowan was absolutely fantastic when it came to every element on the day and leading up to the day. His communication was excellent and nothing was ever a problem or an inconvenience. We received a 12 minute video with the heirloom video package and it is absolutely amazing we couldn't have asked for anything else! Many friends and family have commented saying how fantastic the video and Rowan was! We also opted for the spoken moments film and video stills which were also fantastic and we are very thankful we opted for those as well! We could not recommend Rowan highly enough for your wedding!’

Lydia and Scott also decided to have a Spoken Moments video made.

That Morning

The day started bright and early, way out of Christchurch in a small little down called Sefton. This is where Scott and his brothers were getting ready. I was happy to make the trip if it meant I’d be able to include Scott in the first section of the film.

Then it was on to see Lydia and her family out in Loburn, Libby was already there after getting some shots of Lydia’s wedding dresses, it was time for bubbles and a whole lot of laughter.

Before long it was time for Lydia to get into her dress, Lydia’s dad and brother got a special preview before we got a few shots with their horses, then it was time to meet up again with Scott for a first look!

Lydia and Scott had a cute little first look at the northbrook wetlands in Rangiora, from there we wandered about and took some bridal photos.

That Afternoon

Then it was time to actually do the deed, Lydia arrived in a horse drawn carriage and they were married by their family friend Sandra James. It was a stunningly hot day out on the lawn at Rosemount Estate once the ceremony was over everyone was keen to find some shade!

Before returning to their family and friends Lydia and Scott stole a few moments to get shots with the horse and carriage, and their beautiful dog. Then it was time for lots of hugs and family photos. My favourite moment here was the little sequence I captured of Scott feeding Lydia a mini burger. 😁

Then we made good use of the Rosemount Estate grounds with bridal party photos

That Evening

Scott and Lydia were announced in for the reception, they cut the cake and we launched directly into some rousing speeches. After dinner, Lydia and Scott peformed their first dance, the dancefloor was then open to all and it was party time for the rest of the night!

Once the sun had set we got some sparklers out and took a few photos, i was well and truly ready for bed, so I said my goodbyes and headed home.

On Monday I completed this preview video for Scott and Lydia

Thanks for reading my blog! I hope you like what you’ve seen 😊

Cheers
