Tegan and Clark's Wedding at Lacebark Event Venue in Clarkville, New Zealand
“Rowan – Wow what can we say!
Nothing we can possibly write in this review can ever probably convey exactly how grateful we are to the work you did on our wedding day. We opted for the Next Day Film package, being able to see our wedding so quickly from a different perspective was just so AMAZING. It’s easy to get lost in the day, being able to relive the events at the next day BBQ at our house with our friends and family members will be something we’ll cherish forever.
We had a number of important family members who could not attend our wedding due to covid. However, this was not an issue as Rowan’s Livestreaming service allowed for guests who could not attend to watch our ceremony live online. Those who watched remotely said it was FLAWLESS.
You captured each and every moment brilliantly without being too intrusive. Everyone we’ve shown the film to has absolutely loved it and can’t believe it’s a next day turnaround!. You are an absolute professional and we could not be happier.
Thank You!”

In mid November, Tegan and Clark tied the knot in a heartfelt ceremony at the stunning Lacebark Function Centre, a charming garden venue tucked away in Kaiapoi, just outside of Christchurch. The day was beautifully officiated by Jo Verkaaik Celebrant, with Dolce Wedding Photography capturing every emotional moment. Tegan looked radiant in her gown from Wilkins Bridal, with hair and makeup by the expert team at Ashleigh Jane Skin & Beauty. Their florals were crafted by the talented designers at Bourbon Rose Wedding & Events, and the sweet finish to the celebration came courtesy of Just Desserts Christchurch. I had the honour of creating their Next Day Film and providing livestream coverage for overseas guests

“Welcome, family and friends, to the celebration of Clark and Tegan’s love today. It’s their wedding day, and it’s finally here.”

“Clark had hid in the ring he wanted to give Tegan in the inside pocket of his puffer jacket. It wasn’t a cold day that day. It was a day with clear blue skies. But Tegan kept insisting on taking Clark’s jacket out of the backpack. And Clark spent all day sneaking it back in. He was afraid that she’d see the ring or that it would drop out.
Clark kept calling Tegan to come down the track, but she’d sussed him out by then. But she did play the game. She walked down the track. By then, Clark had dug the ring out of his puffer jacket, and he was there on the spot waiting for Tegan on bended knee. Very impressive, considering it was very rocky and gravelly.”
“Marriage is a very special place. It is a safe, supportive and nurturing environment, which allows each partner to be the best they can be and bring out the best in one another.”

“Holding hands is a promise to one another that the two of you don’t have to face the world alone now. You have each other.”
“We’ve laughed, learned, argued and grown through countless challenges together. Today, I stand here with you, ready to embark on the next big adventure in the journey of our lives. I promise to continue to nurture your dreams, cultivate your compassion, to heed your honesty, even when it cuts deep, to share in triumphs, encourage your success and love you all the more for your failures.”
“So now in this special moment, Clark, I vow to promise you the following. I promise to continue doing life with you, to laugh with you and have fun with you, to adventure with you and to comfort you when you’re sad and to celebrate with you in times of joy. I promise to respect you, acknowledge your interests and understand that your needs are no less important than mine.”
“Now you will feel no cold for each of you will be warmth to the other. Now there is no loneliness because each of you is companion to the other. You are two persons, but there is one life before you and one home.
May happiness be your companion. May beauty surround you both in the journey ahead and through all the years to come.”

“On behalf of my beautiful wife and I, we’d like to thank you for joining us to celebrate our marriage. I can’t imagine a better way to start married life than with all their favourite people around us.
Events like this don’t just happen. They take months of planning. We’ve been planning this wedding for the better part of two years, and when I say we, I mean Tegan.”
“We were born very close together. We went to preschool together, primary, intermediate, college, university, all the birthdays in between. And now to be standing here at your wedding, Tegan, and talking to all of you, it is honestly one of the biggest privileges of my life.
Clark, you are so grounding and you’re so empathetic and patient. And I think to put it simply, you are home to Tegan.”
Here’s what Clark had to say upon first receiving their video:
“You absolutely smashed it out of the park mate, what an amazing video. We’ve finally had a chance to slow down. Everyone we’ve shown the film too has absolutely loved it and can’t believe it’s a next day turnaround!. You are an absolute professional and we could not be happier.
It’s so nice to be able to relive the experience from a different perspective so quickly. Safe to say we will 1000% be recommending you to everyone!
Thank you so much for helping to make the day so memorable for us, we honestly couldn’t have asked for better. You captured each and every moment brilliantly without being too intrusive, ”
Tegan and Clark’s mid November wedding at Lacebark Function Centre was a true celebration of connection, surrounded by friends, family, and a top-tier vendor team. I was honoured to capture it all with both a Next Day Film and a livestream service, making sure every important moment was shared with those near and far. Their choice to relive the day with a film the very next morning meant they could soak in the magic all over again, this time with their wider circle of loved ones
As a wedding videographer based in Christchurch, I know how important it is to preserve the emotion, energy, and atmosphere of a day like this. The Next Day Film format is designed for couples who want to experience their wedding again almost immediately, and Tegan and Clark’s response was everything I could hope for. They also received full-length videos of their Ceremony and Speeches, as well as a full copy of the raw footage, giving them the freedom to revisit every candid moment in even more detail. They described it as “something we’ll cherish forever.”
If you are planning a wedding and searching for a Christchurch wedding videographer who can deliver fast turnaround, professional livestreaming, and cinematic storytelling, I would love to connect. From intimate elopements to larger celebrations, I specialise in capturing real moments with care, and creating films that feel true to you.and thank you for reading my blog!
