Alina and Slava's Wedding at Darjon Vineyard in Swannanoa, Canterbury
“Rowan was our first choice of photographer/videographer for our wedding! He beautifully captured 2 of my friends wedding days and I knew I wanted him to capture ours. He is so chill and fun to have around, half the time you dont even know he’s there, but you end up with so many incredible photos that you didnt realise he was taking! Its been over a month and we are still in awe of our wedding photos and look at them daily. The next day film was also a must and it did not disappoint. All of our friends and family are still raving about how amazing it is! We would recommend Rowan in a heartbeat.”

Alina and Slava were married in late April at Darjon Vineyard, with Victoria Thomas officiating. Headspace Hair styled Alina’s hair, while Daisy’s Wedding Flowers created stunning floral arrangements. It was my pleasure to photograph their celebration and create their Next Day Film above.

“Needless to say, four dates in one day tells you a heck of a lot about a person and they both knew that they were in it for the long haul”
“On a trip to Queenstown, Slava and Alina stopped in Tekapo for lunch and a walk to the lake. It was a beautiful sunny day and Slava was acting weird. He kept hugging Alina and then as he was hugging her, he started to squirm out of her arms and slither down onto one knee, pulling the ring box from his pocket. He then proceeded to ask, So, will you?”
“Slava and Alina, today’s ceremony won’t create a marriage. Marriage is a commitment in life where the two of you choose to find out and bring out the very best in each other”

“I’m incredibly happy this has happened. And one thing that we keep saying that nothing’s gonna change besides a few rings, et cetera, but something is gonna change. You guys are gonna stop referring to each other as me and them, you’re gonna start referring to each other as we.”
